Bailey Capital Management provides a limited number of
accounting practices with the expertise of a professional boutique
financial planning service.
We recognise the importance of keeping our accountant partners
‘in-the-loop’ with all financial planning advice to their clients
and tailor our reporting to meeting the needs of both clients and
their accountants.
We seek to complement the services of our accountant partners to
ensure their clients have access to the best possible
fee-for-advice based financial planning service.

Our services for accountants fall into five categories:

Boutique Financial Planning Advice and Services
This is an advice based service specialising in:
- Tailored financial planning strategies - for high net
worth individuals and high income earners including business
owners, executives and professionals.
- Comprehensive review process – we have a scalable advice
model to ensure clients receive regular communication on progress
to achieving their goals.
- Private Investment Management Service (PIMS) – this is
our exclusive active portfolio management service focused on
protecting capital whilst generating realistic returns relative to
our client’s wider financial needs.
- Transparent fee-for-service – we are an advice based
practice that is remunerated based on our advice not traditional
commissions.

Individual Client Consulting
Bailey Capital Management works with accountants to ensure their
clients have the most appropriate financial planning strategies.
This service extends to working with accountants to ensure
individual clients with complicated financial arrangements or the
need for “one-off” advice are able to access our expertise through
their accountant.
3. Self
Managed Superannuation Funds and Administration
Bailey Capital Management is a SMSF specialist with a dedicated
in-house SMSF administration service designed to work with the
Client’s accountants. This reduces the burdens on Trustees and
provides them with confidence while also bringing efficiencies and
new opportunities to their Accountant. This service is explained in

Accounting Practice Consultation
We have the expertise to work with accountants to review their
current approach to providing financial planning related advice to
clients. This is particularly so with Self Managed Superannuation
Funds administration and strategies.

Education
We work with our accountants to assist them in educating their
clients and their staff on key financial planning topics. This can
take the form of:
- Seminars on specialist topics
- Boardroom presentations to key clients
- Superannuation trustee training
- Providing articles and content for newsletters
We have a detailed process for ensuring accountants remain fully
informed of the advice and services being provided to clients. We
believe in a partnership approach that leverages the expertise of
both parties for the benefit of the client.
Our Values and Core Beliefs
We believe the following elements are essential to providing
trusted, high value financial services to our clients and their
families:
- Objectivity – as a fee-for-service practice we are
remunerated directly by our clients. We seek to minimise the
receipt of payments from third parties and rebate any commissions
where possible. We do not provide remuneration to third parties who
refer clients.
- Integrity – we are authorised representatives of an
independently owned financial planning group – AFS. We are members
of the FPA and adhere to their code of conduct.
- Professionalism – we believe financial planning is a
profession and ensure all of our advisers are fully trained and
competent in their fields of expertise.
- Confidentiality – our relationships with our clients is
built on trust. Bailey Capital Management treats all client
referrals and interaction in the strictest confidence.
- Education – we believe in adding value to our clients
and strategic partners by providing training and education to
assist them to understand the solutions we provide and to improve
their financial knowledge. An example is the seminars we provide
for superannuation trustees and the clients of accountants.
- Communication – our advice model is based on regular
communication with clients based on a regular and structured review
process. We are always available for our clients.
- Understanding – we focus on establishing long-term
relationships with our clients that are based on understanding
their financial goals and personal motivations.
Fees for Service Philosophy
We believe the long term success of an advice based relationship
is dependant on a flat dollar fee for service approach to advice
and ongoing financial services. This means the fees our clients pay
are based on the work we do for them, not the size of their bank or
account balance.
Bailey Capital Management is committed to transparent
relationships with clients. We do not provide any remuneration for
referrals. We seek to provide advice that is independent of any
potential conflicts. Our focus is providing a high quality service
to the clients of our accounting partners.
